34mm Threaded External Headset

This headset features a 34mm external threaded design with sealed bearings and is constructed from lightweight, corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy. It is compatible with standard 1 1/8 inch steerer tubes and weighs approximately 120g (typical for this configuration). The sealed bearing system protects against moisture, dust, and road debris, extending service life without frequent maintenance. The precision-machined aluminum cups and integrated crown race ensure consistent alignment and smooth rotational performance under load. Sealed cartridge bearings reduce friction and deliver responsive, precise steering feedback—critical for both road and light off-road use. Ideal for upgrading older threaded fork systems or replacing worn headsets on vintage or entry-level road and hybrid bikes. Suitable for riders seeking reliable, low-maintenance steering performance in variable UK weather conditions—including rain, grit, and urban commuting environments.
