One drop provides 100 IU of Vitamin D3. Vitamin D stimulates the absorption of Calcium and Phosphorus at the intestinal level and helps maintain normal levels of Calcium in the blood. Likewise, Vitamin D contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system. To avoid Vitamin D deficiency in infants, children and adolescents, the administration of 400 IU of Vitamin D is recommended from the first months of life. In particular, all infants, whether breastfed or formula fed, should receive a vitamin D supplement.
