Duo-Compatible Float Valve Kit

This complete float valve replacement kit contains one steam release handle, one float valve assembly, three silicone sealing gaskets, and one anti-block shield. Made entirely from food-safe, odourless silicone and thermoplastic elastomer materials. The float valve weighs approx. 8 g and features a 2.5 cm diameter base; the steam release handle is 4.2 cm long with ergonomic grip texture. Total net weight: 35 g. All parts meet EU food contact material regulations (EC 1935/2004) and are designed for repeated autoclave-level thermal cycling (up to 120°C). The float valve acts as both pressure sensor and mechanical seal—locking down during heating and rising only when internal pressure reaches calibrated levels (approx. 10.5 psi). The steam release handle allows controlled, hands-free or manual venting. Gaskets sit at three critical junctions: lid rim, float valve housing, and steam release pivot point—each sized to match original tolerances. The anti-block shield slots securely beneath the steam release lever to intercept particulates before they enter narrow vent paths. Designed exclusively for Instant Pot Duo series (3, 5, 6 Qt), Duo Plus (3, 6 Qt), Smart (6 Qt), and Smart WiFi (6 Qt). Recommended replacement every 6–12 months depending on usage frequency, or sooner if visible deformation, stiffness, or compression set occurs in any gasket—maintaining factory-level safety and function without compromise.
