Using NEX Adapter Ring: 1. First, enable the "No Lens" option in the camera settings. Usually, the focus assist is enabled by default, meaning it will turn red when focus is achieved. It is best to set it up to use the adapter ring. 2. Using LCD focus, composition, and metering are all easy to control, all manual focus, convenient and fast. 3. You can use the MF zoom in focus function (usually soft button B, the button in the bottom right corner), 7 times or 14 times zoom in focus, to achieve the focus function. 4. You can use M file or A file (supports automatic metering) mode to enjoy manual operation.
