Ideal for thread cutting in stainless steel, copper, aluminum, etc. Micro taps are primarily used in watchmaking and for drilling lowhardness materials such as wood, plastic, and soft metals. 3. Cobalt Speed Steel Tool: The metric tap with cobalt offers higher hardness and precision, improved wear resistance and toughness, as well as heat resistance. It is manufactured by adding 5%8% cobalt to conventional speed steel. 4. Easy to Use: Compatible with drills, tapping machines, CNC, and milling machines. For quality threads and longer tap durability, use cutting oil during thread cutting. Always apply coolant when tapping and rust protection oil after use to extend service life.
