This first-rate woodcarving tool is built with durability in mind. Made with quality in Japan, the shank and bolster are formed with a single piece of steel, helping to give the tool a long life. The chisel is flat, but its size makes it excellent for cutting straight lines or removing smaller chunks of wood from a carving.The hard wood handle has a metal hoop at the end. This ensures maximum control and helps to protect the user's hand from mallet blows. Grip the handle with ease and carve away with this superb instrument.
