We have taken our best-selling Ground Flaxseed to a whole new level by blending in bits of real fruit-blueberries, strawberries, cranberries, raspberries and elderberries. Often referred to as "Super Fruits " these berries are particularly well known for their antioxidant polyphenol levels and immune supporting qualities, making them as healthful as they are tasty. Spectrum Essentials® brand Flaxseeds are premium quality seeds that have been carefully selected for their nutritive content. Flaxseed is a highly concentrated source of secoisolariciresinol diglucoside (SDG) lignans. The amount of SDG lignans can vary from 0.7% to 1.9% of seed weight depending on seasonal variation in growing conditions. Only Spectrum Essentials® brand uses a proprietary milling process that finely slices the seed rather than crushing it, thereby minimizing the loss of valuable nutrients from oxidation. The sliced seed is immediately packaged in this light protective pouch and sealed airtight to ensure optimum nutritive benefits and product freshness.
