Designed to protect your RV water heater, it extends the tank's lifespan by sacrificing itself over time. These magnesium anode rods are more effective than aluminum alternatives in preventing corrosion. If the anode rod becomes depleted or fully decayed, the water heater tank may begin to rust, crack, fail, or leak. Each rod measures 4.5 inches (115mm) in length, with a 0.5 inch (13mm) diameter and 1/2 inch threaded connection. Designed for easy installation and replacement.
