Usage: Wear gloves and safety goggles before proceeding. Follow these steps to replace the valve core: 1. Unscrew the low-side (or high-side if applicable) port cover 2. Connect the valve removal tool 3. Insert the extractor 4. Loosen the old valve core 5. Pull the valve core up 6. Remove the valve core 7. The valve core is now removed 8. Place the new valve core on the stem 9. Install the new valve core 10. Reattach the protective cover to the low-side port Red indicates high side, blue indicates low side. The extractor valve core is adjustable to accommodate various valve core types. Suitable for replacing valve cores without releasing system refrigerant.
