GERANIUM Espresso \nCommonly known as Meadow Cranesbill. \nA charming and hardy cottage garden plant that forms loose mounds of deeply lobed, bronze or chocolate brown foliage. \nThe dark leaves prove the perfect foil for the pale pink flowers which cover the plant from April until August. \nBees find Geranium Espresso very attractive. \nExtremely floriferous and rarely growing more than 30cm tall with a rather sprawling habit it makes very effective ground cover. \nNot fussy about soil type but Meadow Cranesbill has a strong dislike of water logged sites. \nExcellent at the front of a sunny border but this vigorous geranium will also tolerate a partially shaded site. \nLarge or overcrowded clumps can be lifted and split in early spring. \n Espresso is an unusual and much sought-after variety of Meadow Cranesbill. \nAll pictures used are of mature plants in bloom and are for illustration purposes only.
