The ESP32-C3 SuperMini expansion board is designed for the ESP32-C3 SuperMini development board, addressing several limitations of the original board. This expansion board allows connection to an external 3.7V lithium battery and supports USB charging. A green indicator light illuminates during charging and turns off when the battery is fully charged. All IO ports are broken out for easy access, enabling users to integrate various sensors and preserve functionality. The board offers an improved power supply solution with two power outputs, VCC1 and VCC2. The default output voltage for both VCC1 and VCC2 is 3.3V. To output a higher voltage (3.7V), the PCB can be shorted. The factory default uses a 0R resistor connected to 3.3V. To switch to 3.7V output, remove the 0R resistor and short the three pads with solder. VCC1 and VCC2 independently control their voltage outputs, allowing individual configuration.
