It is a food supplement composed of red yeast rice, berberine and ubiquinone, which helps control lipoproteins naturally. Red yeast rice contains active ingredients called monacolins that inhibit hepatic synthesis of lipoproteins. Berberine is obtained from the berries of Berberis aristata. It helps maintain proper control of blood glucose and lipoprotein levels. It is considered a first-class nutraceutical in addressing fat metabolism disorders. Ubiquinone is a substance present in each and every cell of the body. Essential for energy production, it contributes to the reduction of fatigue, being one of the most powerful antioxidants. It contributes to improving fat metabolism and reduces the side effects of statins used to lower lipoprotein levels. Taking one capsule a day is recommended, preferably at night.
