Our faux silk fabric has the most wonderful texture and surface finish. It is made from polyester fibres being brings down the price but it still has the luxurious look of pure silk. On one side you have a matte, textured finished (as shown in the photo) and on the reverse you have a shiny satin finish which also has this subtle texture. Either side can be used as the main side of the fabric, or you could use a combination of the two. It is ideal for sewing into dresses, tops and skirts and is especially popular for prom and weddings. Minerva Reversible Dupion is a brand of fabric that is made from 100% polyester. It has a plain pattern and is reversible, meaning it can be used on both sides. The fabric is lightweight and has a width of approximately 150cm or 60 inches. It comes in a grey color and has a fabric weight of 135 grams per square meter. The recommended washing instructions for this fabric is to wash it at 40 degrees. This fabric is perfect for crafters who are looking for a versatile and easy-to-care-for material for their projects. Fabric is cut from the roll and available to order by the metre.
