It is safe since the essential oils do not come into contact with the skin and the patches are anti-allergic. NauZen Patches contains essential oils. In particular: Ginger essential oil (also known as Ginger) is extracted by steam distillation from the rhizome of Zingiber officinalis. Ginger is known for its anti-nausea properties and for promoting digestive functionality and correct gastrointestinal motility. It also serves to contrast localized states of tension and disorders of the menstrual cycle. Peppermint essential oil is also obtained by steam distillation but from Menta piperita leaves. Tangerine essential oil is obtained by cold pressing the skin of Citrus nobilis fruits. Tangerine also associates its digestive properties with an activity to regulate gastrointestinal motility and reduce meteorism. It is recommended to separate the patches to be used from the card. Activate 1 or 2 patches with light finger pressure in the center. Lift the corner of the patch to separate it from the cardboard and apply it to clothing, near the neck and face area. The patch has inside an inclusion of microcapsules containing essential oils. This innovative activatable diffusion system is the subject of a patent. After activation, the diffusion of essential oils lasts approximately 3 hours. Thanks to the waterproof and anti-allergic adhesive, the essential oils do not come into direct contact with the skin.
