The main compartment of the bag is spacious, so you can store all your essentials with ease. There is a separation so you can keep any wet items away from the rest of your stuff, or you can store a water bag. There is a convenient outlet for the tube of your water bag on the shoulder strap.  There is a small compartment on the back which is easily accessible to store any essentials, and is closed by a zipper.
