The RDK IMU module is implemented using the high-performance 6- inertial measurement unit (IMU) BMI088 launched by for Sensortec, which includes a three- gyroscope and a three- accelerometer, both with 16-bit accuracy. BM1088 is designed for applications that require high and vibration resistance, especially for use in strong vibration environments such as drones and robots. BMI088 has an extended range of ±24g acceleration and ±2000°/s angular velocity. BM1088 has excellent temperature drift performance (low TCO/TCS), is factory calibrated, and can achieve high-stability attitude and motion perception. The module uses the interface to connect to the RDK X5.
